Although many people assume that it is an easier task than other types of tillage machines, it actually requires quite a bit of know-how on your part before you can successfully repair one. If you have a bilt and are interested in learning how to repair it, then this article will provide you with a few tips on doing so.

The first step that you should take if you are learning how to repair a bilt blower is to turn the power off to the unit and disconnect the electrical connection from your house. Make sure that the cord that is usually attached to the blower outlet is not visible. Then you should open up the main door of your house and pull down the carpet in order to expose the metal frame which rests against the floor. You should then pull out the electric cable and plug this into an electrical outlet.

The next step in learning how to repair a bilt blower is to turn the power back on, but this time turn it on to the furthest side out of the house. You should then pull out the metal frame which sits upon the ground and reattach it to the wooden deck. You should replace the spindle arm with a new one, which will fit tightly against the deck. Once this is done you should tighten all nuts on the frame. After this you should fasten the reel assembly into place with brass nuts. These nuts will need to be tightened very tightly.

The third step in learning how to repair a bilt blower is to turn off the power and the air conditioner for about 20 minutes in order to prevent any damage or injury to you. Next you should remove the blades from the bilt blower. You should discard these and any parts that are broken. Once this is done you should remove the blades from the bilt blower and discard them. You should also remove the rubber gaskets which are located between the blades and the deck.

The fourth step in learning how to repair a bilt blower is to attach the blower to a sturdy table. You should use screws to attach the blades, spindle, and blades to the table. When doing so you should use a level and secure the table. You should then tighten all screws down very tightly. Once you have completed this step, you can remove the two bolts that are attaching the blower to the pole.

After this you should access the wires that are located on the opposite side of the two cables. These wires will need to be attached to a positive and negative wire. Once you have completed this step you should be able to see the two holes that were made by the screw to hold the blower together, these holes will be covered with a retaining pad.

The last step in learning how to repair a bilt blower is to remove all of the parts including the screws and the pads. It is recommended that you use masking tape to cover the holes to prevent any paint from being smeared. Once you have done this you should clean the mess from the blower and then put it back together.
